im currenty restoring a black j plate RS2k but also have a rs turbo, it is a hard choice to make as they both have there own benifits the turbo motor will tune a lot more easier and cheaper than the I4 in the 2k but the 2k is a nicer drive and handles a lot better, my problem is once the 2k is finished im gonna restore my turbo just cos i dont wanna sell either..

no one can make your mind up for you mate its upto you, lots of people dont like the 2k but i think there very underestimatd....

if u want a car which u never open the bonnet except for oil and water checks keep the I4, or if u want no cash in your wallet keep the turbo

Agreed. You'll be bored with nothing to fix, that's half the fun of it.

i love the rs2000 but the mk4 is better performance.

or
full on performance= rs turbo
