Default standard cams

rite gonna stick a new standard ford cam in my motor

is there anything else i should replace at the same time?

ie followers, valves etcs (ps i aint a clue) lol

also should i buy a venier puller? to get a better setup

no vernier needed. u Need cam and u MUST MUST put in followers. U can also change the valve stem oil seals, but this is a little more involved.

venier only need then if its a different spec cam?

would i not benefit from a vernier then?

80% of your car is standard Dave so a vernier isnt going to help you, get a performance cam kit anyway as its going to give you that bit extra

i want more BHP from a cam, just dont want it all top end

want it same similiar power delivery as the standard cam,

smooth across the rev range.

any recommendations?

standard turbo, standard engine, pretty much just chip & I/C

make sure you use cam lube and run it in proplerly

graphogen is great for cams and new followers, its a colodial graphite paste

to be honest, if it's a std turbo, a cvh 34 or 35 would work well. if it's a big turbo, then use the std cam.
