Default Ebay D plate S1

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MakeTrack=true

Just don't believe all the crap he's spouted about value and numbers left, etc.
(And would your brother leave you an S1 for free ??)

Just that he saw a C plate sell for over Ł7 last week, so says the RSOC told him this could be worth over Ł9k after a rebuild to its glory. Says that RSOC told him there were 50-ish D plates and around 30/40 left. Total crap. No-one knows how many there were...and my thread shows that there are less than 20 at the moment..again, final figures unknown.
Been off the road for two years and will need trailering. Only 68k miles on it tho.

I'm not trying to put anyone off, as the car does look shiny, just that he seems to have exaggerated on a few things on the ad to 'big it up' some more.

Ł9k would be one of if not the best car in existence I would say..........and how much would it cost financially to get it to be worth that ? More than Ł9k..............

i think only a mint standard example with original tyres, full service history, no modifications and only a couple of thousand miles on the clock could fetch that money. as you can see from photos its had refurbed wheels, yellow samcos, clear rears, etc. its never worth that.

I still can't see it tho tbh. If I left the country and had a car worth about Ł3k (depending when he went), then I wouldn't be giving it away to my sister for free. Maybe I'm wrong on that one...or maybe I'm just stingey..lol

(That's Northern for 'miserly' not hurty like a bee sting btw)
