HELP with my desicion.......................................
I have bought a T34/.48, a GGR uprated pump as i was all set to go the Big Turbo route , but i keep getting mixed views of ways of doing it. Some say Webber/mirelli all the way, others say Autronic or Pectal?? money is ok to a degree, but aint got it to burn anymore
Desicions of where to go is also hard , as the more people you speak to, you end up finding good and bad points of each tuner?
Ive even had one say, T3 with uprated pulse injectors(600cc), uprated pump ( which i also have ) and a Special written chip should save all the hassle of changing sensors etc and would get me a proper 300/310bhp??But who could write such a chip????
All i want is to leave the car looking stock under the bonnet but have a reliable 335bhp .Dont mind a 500 cooler, but not into all the chrome bling people go for.
Do i uprate my Small T for a T28 hybrid and get MSD to set me up for a stg 1 and settle for less than 300 BHP??
Have you any suggestions at what i should do???

YOu dont need loads of bling under the bonnet for a stage III P8 Weber Marrelli Conversion, ECU's are readily available as are looms, its a tried and tested route, going Autronic is going to be dearer.. But I dont know enough about it to comment..

you can have 305 in an upgrade or thereabouts so why bother with all the cost,messing about etc..for a stage 3, 330bhp.
is it worth that money for an extra 30bhp.
if you go to say....360-380, then yes.
you could ring about and ask tuners about the max you can squeeze out of the small turbo car.

ive had i GGR305 car before and i dont think it was near 300bhp even tho the car had a print out at 297.
They have a different feel to them and they run out of balls top end. If i converted it i'd like uptp 350bhp.
Just dont kno what to do, as i dont want to waste the money!
I also dont want to ruin my car

imo all depends on funds big turb conversion is at least Ł1500-3k depending on setup... getting around 300bhp out of a small turbo is much easier but as you know you are limited i have my autronic ecu so i have saved half the battle and cost, hence it shall only cost me around Ł1500 to be fitted and mapped with all new bits and bobs too.....
think this is something you can only decide yourself...

personally i cant see the justification to spend all the extra money on either pectel or autronic if all your after is 330ish bhp.
if you are only wanting to have 330bhp and are sure you want to go the big turbo route then id stay with the webber marrelli management.

Have you spoken to Stu to see if he could do the chip for the uprated pulse injects on the EECIV, as then you could fit your T34 with 600cc ones, no probs AND achieve your target figure .
