Default fitted my leda springs today!!!!

swapped my springs to the new ones off mike rainbird today after a bit of hassle the fronts were done and the top mounts changed for the poly ones and chrome tops while i was there .....

but the best find i had of the day was that i wasn't told that the car was poly bushed!!!! the TCA's are done there is a HUGE anti roll bar that was poly bushed too also that the brakes i have are 315mm on the front and 300mm on the back all have braided lines... and i'm on std rims ....

fitted the rears after taking the shafts out all done works great altho the rear wasn't poly bushed

only problem is there seems to be a knock occasionally on the driver frnt so i may have to check that out did everything properly may have just missed something small ....

will get some pics up of the new improved ride height tomorrow hopefully as the car was WAY too low b4

cheers Ad

i was just a bit pleased as i was aware of the few mods when i bought it but there was no bills or mention of polybushing so when i saw it i was chuffed means i dont have to buy any front ones now ....

Make sure the spring is correctly seated in the damper body cup - this could be the cause of the knocking if it isn't .

cheers mike theres a pic for you its onlt the driver front that is knocking a touch but only over lumps and bumps so maybe the spring isn't sat correctly?? altho it seemed fine when i fitted it i shall have it on the ramp on tues hopefully to check it over may be able to adjust the spring if not sat correct if the weight is totally off the spring too, rather than me taking it all out again

just encase you read this mike the car is sorted now the TCA was not tight tight at the base (altho i didn't touch that end) so must have come loose when we fitted the new springs!!!

but i have to say the car handles very well now and rides brill, really happy cheers mike
