starting problem any idea's

Default starting problem any idea's

put car in garage after taking it out for a run went to start it today and wouldn't go. had no probs whilst driving.
There is alot of clicking when i turn the key went to turn over but wouldn't fire.
tried again fired up ran rough and then cut out

greatfull for all help

going to put battery conditioner on it tonight as thats what it was hooked up to before i took it out. hopefully it will start up after a day connected up so might be able to eliminate a couple of things

Fuel pump relay in the fuse box packed up or maybe the whole fuse box.

not the fuse box as checked all this out couple of months ago, full strip down job also got a fuel pump relay then just to check just in case any more ideas? will have ago again with relay but not sure it's that

put battery conditioner back on for two days and started first time think the alternator/battery is no good. had bought 2nd hand one on here but never turned up so will have to sort one out

when that happened on mine after sitting for some time, it was the starter motor that had pack up, put a new on and been fine ever since, and its been fine after having it tucked away for the winter... starts up everytime now with the new starter motor...
