EsCos Boosting problem
Car went into limp mode the other day due to the throttle position sensor comming loose anyway after putting it back on and tightening it up the car would not go over 1bar of boost
After messing about with the amal valve i herd a clicking noise comming from it when the cars running anyone had this before?
had another amal valve and a brand new one on it and its still fcuked had to just disconect it for the moment to stop the click/buzzing noise
Anyone?

the amal valves do click when they engage/disengage etc.
if all you had wrong was the thorttle position switch then why are you trying to alter the amal valve?
have you tightened up the throttle pos switch at the right point/angle, and do you run a pectel monitor?
or even a secs monitor coming to think of it!?

The same/correct TPS was refitted,
Ben hasn't got a ECU monitor, so i fitted it by feel, so should be with in 3 degrees accurate, which should not affect the boost controll.
But if you want Ben, i can volt check it, to get 100% reading. and make sure its reading 100% accuaretly
Basically the ecu is not sending any signal to the amal valves when boosting,
but when it feels like it, is does it on idle.

wasnt trying to alter the Amal Valve either, i did say above that after it was in limp mode once the problem was found and rectified I.E. the throttle position the car would not boost over 1 bar
As Dan said the throttle position has been set up manual and no i dont have a pectel or secs monitor

As it didn't have an AMAL valve fitted, it may be that the chip has been designed not to run one, so when connected it is going loopy .
Just set it up as you have with 1.5 bar and forget about it, as on Monday it will be sorted for good anyway .
