cant help much on numbers but if it looks the same as your old rs2000 pump will probily be right .cossy has same pump as all escort range thats why, even at standard power they are border line on melting your engine

I still have my old fuel pump which I changed for an uprated one. I believe this to be standard and has the numbers 6443329 0932-1 stamped on it. I can take a picture and post it if you want.

Cheers
John

hmm see your old one has a red trim mine had a beige,

dont know what do do really as i paid quite a bit for this and want to put it on the car but scared incase its the wrong one and cause detornation and wreck my new engine.

thats why i want to try and find the most about it before i fit it.

just want to make sure it is a escort cos fuel pump and not say off a fiesta rs turbo as they are identical.

ok thanks mate, think i will try and get my money back off the guy i bought it off.

i noticed them group A pumps like the one in picture are alot bigger than the standard cosworth pumps.
how do u fit them in tank as they look to big as a direct replacment for the smaller standard pump in tank?

a brand new walbro direct replacement high pressure high flow one is only Ł100 - dont risk an 'unknown' for the sake of that money,

and as said above, the std escos fuel pump is the same as all the other efi escorts and it virtually maxxed out as standard on a escos.

if you don't plan for big BHP the walbro is the best choice but with the bosch 023 it's fit and forget...
that what I've done on mine I designed and weld a fitting on the outlet pipe to keep the genuine hose (to avoid problem with the MOT)

But you can also supply a fitting kit from R&B quite easely

Well, less things you see less questions you ask.... if you have braided lines on fuel anyone can guess it as been modified so in the MOT or worth in case of mortal accident you can lose your insurance in France because it is not permited to change anything on the car...
braided lines for the brakes are even forbiden over here now I think..!

yes it is, but those lines can be 'home made' you can buy the fittings and the lines so it can be done in good or bad way.. I guess it's why they are worry...
I've got goodridge anyway on mine so I'll see next time if they notice it!
