Default Changing Dump Valve Diaphragm?

On a small turbo T25 EsCos with SE dump valve, how much of a job is it to change the diaphragm as I'm pretty sure mine's buggered but I DEFINATELY need my car on sunday so don't want to get into an awkward involved job so close to when I need the car if it's gonna be a pain?

i cant be 100% sure but ive just had a look a it looks like a walk in the park mate tbh, unbolt the casing and i should imagine its a case of talking out old and putting in the new, or just buy a replacement atmospheric dump valve for it

Excellent cheers RADMAN! I think I am right in saying that the diaphragm is fooked anyway!- To check I took the hose off the dump valve, put on another length of rubber hose and then sucked on it! This if I understand correctly should give me a vacuum should it not but I can suck on it all day long & still get no resistance so I am right am I, the diaphragm is knackered??

A no no for a small turbo Escort, you'll mess up the fuelling as you are venting measured air and the engine will run rich.

For T25 you "simply" need a twin pistons type dump valve as well as a specialy made plug for the turbo and that's it....
as I read somewere over here: " Vroooom, pshiiiiit, vroooooom"

the plug that I'm talking can be seen here:
