How far have u got?

Once clocks are out just un screw fuel/temp gauge then the six pins just slide out. Be carefull and ease them out slowly.

make sure you mark where the needle is before removing it,so you can put it back in the right place

I made that mistake

Is low level light activated by gauge or tank sender direct. Thinking i could reset my gauge when it comes on.

why would i need to take the needle off? the guage was just resting on the bottom of the one i have now taken off!

also the old guage and new guage are different the point where the connecter for the ilumination is on my origional one is in the middle at the bottom and the new one is in the bottom left hand corner
thanks guys

are you replacing the whole unit complete then? assumed you were just renewing the guage itself not the face/dial etc
