BD 16 inlet BD 15 exhaust cams info
Hi Guys
What is the typical power peak point in rpm for the Bd 16 inlet and Bd 15 exhaust cams from Mountune ?
In other words where where they designed to make peak power ?
Those are set 110 degrees before and after respectively.

My engine runs 2 x bd 16s and power hasn't peaked by 7500rpm.. 513bhp and still climbing at rev limit 7500...
There are other variables that will move powerband around best to talk to mountune or other reputable engine builders.

At what boost is this ? (513hp)
I have a missfire from 5800 rpm onwards and at that point on 1,4 bar it is producing 247kw (330hp) 5800rpm atw.
At 1 bar peak power is at 7200 rpm.
Cant get rid of the miss !!!
Checked ignition , leads and plugs but still no luck , and disributor as well.
Running p8 o injector with two coils .

The 513 is at 30psi boost.
I to had a misfire at high revs. I use motorsport leads GRP A coil etc and could not trace the misfire.... Cured it by fitting new 12v supply to coil via high quality switch on dash.... Can only assume it was the immobiliser circuit or the ignition switch causing a resistance.
