Default A Few New Pics

Just taken some more pictures of my escos so thought id put a few more up.

Got a few more chrome, polished and alloy bits for the engine bay to go on yet. And possibly a carbon splitter but not 100% sure on that yet. Will be getting a carbon cambelt cover, plug cover and turbo heatshield soon, then thats it for now.

nice clean motor. Under the car also looks good.

332 BHP is also pretty good, is that from the small turbo. How did you manage to keep the torque up so high at 6000rpm?

kenny.

Thanks for the comments,

MAD, The cars done 43k.

Kenny, the previous owner had it on the rollers, so not sure mate. I must admit though, I was suprised by the wide torque band.

If you have any tuning details I would be interested to see them. Also if you need an under bonnet or under engine cover, I have them in the cellar. Just to keep the dirt out better of course.

Kenny.

Very, very clean. A top example - how much did you pay for it? - if you don't mind me asking.

Not sure myself mate. However, someone did mention my exhaust is a restriction as it has 2 middle boxes and most only have one??? Would there be any truth in this or is 2 middle boxes normal???

You cant really measure the actual performance just on the 'maximum' torque though. It also depends how long over the rev range the max torque applies. Mine is at maximum torque from around 3750 rpm to 5750 rpm.

I was always told the flatter the torque curve, the better.

Out of interest, do you have a dyno graph to compare torque curves?? Yours might be a bit higher maximum, but the graph might not be as flat, and not at max for more than a 2000 rpm period??

Would be interesting to see as both our cars seem to be a similar spec.

Yes mate it is a Magnex. Do you think having 2 boxes could be affecting the torque and resticting it a bit though? A few have mentioned that it might???
