AP brake bells can they be powdercoated?

Default AP brake bells can they be powdercoated?

or do they have to be anodised?

id imagine they can be powdercoated but i wouldnt say it would be a good idea due to the temperature that the bells can get to.

did a track day a while back and the powdercoating on the inside of the wheels had got that hot that it had run across the bells, so id imagine the bells would get even hotter!!!

You can do ceramic coating of the bells or a high temp powder coating. I did my 68 Camaro with high temp powdercoating and it looks great!

could be worth bearing in mind, as my front wheels are terribly piited and the colour has faded after my track day.
