d/c batt Neg.

support engine with a 2x4 across wings and a bit of rope in gearbox end lifting eye.

remove passenger wheel and unbolt hub carrier from ball joint, strut etc, pop inner CV out.

remove gearbox cradle.

remove starter, earth and bellhousing bolts.

jimmy bellhousing off block and lever it towards passenger side of vehicle.

drivers inner cv should pop out and the box is free.

car will have to be quite high in t'air tho.

read the haynes manual for a general guide, should take about 5 hours if you've got abs & havn't done it before.
no need to remove engine, saves draining coolant etc

jamie @ Jamsport did mine, real cheap aswell, top job, and he made it look easy!

arb off, cradle, starter, bellhousing bolts, abs (if you have it) driveshafts (be ready to collect oil)

if it ya 1st time have a day spare, just in case...

when i did them on my rs's they were pretty straightforeward, but the abs can be tricky...

get jamsport to do it!!!
