HELP!

Betty has some issues and if i cant fix her i will sell her! Ideally I think she needs to be plugged into a computer and for someone to find why sh is getting so hot all the time, ive changed everything but nothings helped

Basically I am wanting to know if this service is available and who does it? Names and Numbers would be great please so Betty can live on!

Ford have a computer that reads the fault codes, BUT for alot less, you can buy a 'Gunson' fault code reader from Halfords (Circa Ł30 iirc)..

This will show you all the fault codes logged by the ECU, which is ace, BUT... If the fault isn't ECU / sensor related, then it won't show anything...

Presume you've checked the thermostat, flow thru the rad (get it out and run a hose thru it) and water pump leakage / pressure..???

If you've never replaced the rad, and it looks 'aged', then you'd be suprised how much rust 'powder' and shit is in there... It's well worth getting it out and flushing it... Specially as you've removed the stat..
