Ford have a computer that reads the fault codes, BUT for alot less, you can buy a 'Gunson' fault code reader from Halfords (Circa £30 iirc)..

This will show you all the fault codes logged by the ECU, which is ace, BUT... If the fault isn't ECU / sensor related, then it won't show anything...

Presume you've checked the thermostat, flow thru the rad (get it out and run a hose thru it) and water pump leakage / pressure..???
