Sump Valve that chatters
Hey ive just got a 1989 escort rsturbo and it hasnt got a d/v on it, i want one that chatters and not the more used tish sounding one.
anyone know what the best one to use is and where is best to buy them from,

D/v dosnt give you chatter, only the tish noise that you described. If you still have the metering head on your not really gona get it. Involves changing the MFI system to EFI from a fezza Rs if im not mistaken.
If any of that is wrong then im sure someone will correct the mistakes i amde

haha just noticed i put sump instead of dump in the title haha
ok thanks for the info, at the moment when i change gear i get a very quite chatter, you have to really listen to it to hear it tho.

every one says says you cant get chatter with mfi which is complete bollocks!!!!!!
mine is plenty lound (louder than any dumpo valve but not quite as loude as efi)
and my inlet system hasnt got an air leak because i had it checked.
21psi and a stage three turbo, dirty big pipercross sponge filter (not cone) and it is loud (as ive alredy said, not quite as loud as efi)

I had roughly the same kind of spec, but 24psi held boost, it was nothing like proper chatter. Here is a video clip taken by Adam BlackRS, many moons ago...

You need to go to an EFi management system to get proper chatter, end of.
