Default Drove an AX GT today!

I borrowed my mates AX GT to go down the shop and get some sigs. After about 45 minutes of 'having to let it warm up' i jumped in and tried to work out the pedals as the brake and clutch are millimetres away from each other!

I thought 'my god, what am i degrading myself with here'.....till i got it out the gates and on the road

What an animal! Its the craziest, adrenaline inducing, scariest car i've driven!

I highly recommend trying one out if the oppertunity arises, they are awesome fun to rag about in!

They are shit My mate had one and spent more on refurbing the crappiest, most stupid designed 3 stud wheels on it than the car was worth

Pedals are shit unless your into japenese foot bondage, boot falls of it if the rear screen breaks. They all rattle to fook, and you look like a french gary glitter driving one

Guess its better than a vauxhall though

I concur, AX GTs a cracking little cars . The ickle 1380cc engine is a rev monster . They weigh nothing and can stay with Mk1 MR2s no problem to 110mph . A girlfriend had one and I would always insist on driving it if we went any where .

Wicked little cars, my mate had GT500 with the half leather interior.

Use to LOVE these cars. I remember the original Tv ads actually... something about Rocky Marciano I think

Awesome car- I was gutted when I crashed mine for the second time.. you could hang them out easy with some carefull foot work.

Bonnet pull was in the weirdest place ever PISS PISS funny.. at the time I had mine upto a 1.4 they were the fastest 0-60 and had the most BHP according to Max POOWER

Great little cars.

I used to race one in rallycross, stockhatch.

Only a 1.4 but was equal to the 205 git's and Saxo's on the circuit.

Light as a feather, made out of re-cycled tin cans!!

I added 3 stud team dynamics alloys , lowered all round , scorpion exhaust , different jet in carb with filter.

I even remember the reg H113 LOA

106's are great as well. The brakes feel as though they are made of wood and are to stopping what coarse sand is to vaginal lubrication

Cracking cars, my track one used to have a Saxo VTR engine in it with a lumpy cam and throttle bodies.... was sooooo much fun. I took it off the track to change to a 16v engine with a lot more bits......... that was 3 years ago and now it's in a garage and I am in Oz!!!

Will get it running again one day.......

Remember though all you guys that slag Saxos, underneath it is the same floorpan(and 106's for that matter), just the Saxo has a heavier weight!! But better engines too....
