I had a problem with the standard boost hose collapsing, normally at high revs (5K+).
Sussed it out on the rolling road with one of the guys holding it while they ran the car up
Silicone has solved it
Cheers,
Marc.
Incidentally i replaced my cam last year with a Kent CVH35 and i think i prefer my old 90 thousand mile standard jobbie...
Seem to have to ring its neck a lot more nowadays for the same effect, standard cam has much more midrange (Useful)...

i have another small pob it might be linked, when u switch of engine it will shut down then about 3 seconds later will pop out of the exhaust i have been told that it could be leaking injecters if so could they not be faulty and spraying incorrect patern.ithink ill have to spend weekend swapping and changing bits around and see if i can solve it that way trial and error and thats long
ive got "EXACTLY" the same problem mate
i was thinking it might be a ECU problem
if i bring the power on slowly it seems to go better than when i just floor it duz your's do this to???? let us know how you get on with it

cannot beleve it !changed the spark plugs and the car is ten times better still not 100 % but a great impovement have got a set of new injecters coming as spoke to a guy he told me that i should realy put a set of injecters in it as they arnt that good after about 60,000 miles and i dont now how old the ones in my car are ,i have tried pushing the plunger on the metering head and it seems to have a bit of pressure when pushed down so ill change the injecters any way as thats another new part and eliminates them got them from euro car parts Ł80 trade witch ant to bad thanks for your help
My mates van had the exact same problem till today when another mate of mine who works for ford fixed it... the timing on the distributor was out. If you havent cheked that already it would be the first thing i would do

well mines not boosting atall, unless im not in gear and just revving it(well the dumpvalve works then.)
ive been told its the actuator, my question is, what actuator does a standard rs turbo have?
