thinking of buying some new lifters for my s2 .ive heard solid lifters are good but u only need them if you are going to run over 200bhp ?

and ive also seen antipump 1's not sure about these ,has any 1 bought any of these 2 and has any advice for me please ..

in your other post about timing, i take it the kent 34 cam u put in was second hand, as if it was new the lifters u get are antipump ones

solids are not always used for rst's over 200bhp, i run standard ford ones, been fine

 

the cam was brand new mate but 2 of lifters are knackerd the shoulders came off them after the 20 min run in period ,

 

send them back, shouldnt of done that!

i had my antipumps in with my 34 for about 4 months, they got noisey, so just replaced them with ford ones, they have been ok for 6k now
