Default Alloy wheel problems, techie help needed please

A mate has a SEAT Cordobra (spelling) and just bought some 15" Alloys for it, however the guy told him after he paid that the wheels came off a honda, but as they are the sam e stud pattern they should fit, does anyone know if thats true or should i get him to fit some spacer plates? as when he hits 80 or so he gets loads of vibrating thro the wheels, and he just got em balanced as well

cheers for any help

The vibration is caused by either poor wheel balancing or lack of Spigot Rings (the centre adaptor rings that JLR mentions above.

The offset will almost certainly be right.

He'll need 57.1 rings for the wheels to locate & centre properly
offset & pcd is fine.
