after trying the engine in my mates clio 16v today ive decided that the project isnt going any further, going to be too awkward and difficult to get the zetec engine to fit in the clio engine bay

looks like im gonna have to sort myself out a nice series 2 rs turbo to strap it into

the width wsnt a problem its the depth of the ford gearbox, it is just too close to the power steering rack to allow me to move the engine back the necessary 100mm to allow everything to line up and fit

doh,, im sure you'll find something nice too put it in,, a sleeper maybe?

why has the turbo got a restrictor on?

 

yeah ive got my eyes open for a nice escort of some description.

the turbos got the restrictor on just because thats how i got it, wont be running that when the engines all sorted

 

get a mk1 escort ben and hoy it in there

 

manual rack any smaller?

oh and this is what happens when dave put 22 psi thru a pinto engine and lash it all over with std mahle pistons

been offerd a mk2 1.1 ghia fezzy needs some small welding for mot 35,000 genuine miles too 150notes

1.8 lx sierra 45,000 genuine miles - free mint shell apparently aint seen it yet

1.6 si few iffy bits 200 notes

l reg 1.8 diesel van 200 notes

this is just some of the things ive stumbled on this week
