the car is an xr4x4 2.9i sierra turbo tecnics
f73 twin turbo
just buying the goodies for it then the work begins
starting with the 4x4 cossie bonnet to help cooling


had to do head gasket as it blew one
also a new turbo as the old one was smoking like a miner

my m8 dave torquing the heads as i just had an operation on my wrist (cheers dave ) who out of interest is running a mk2 escort rs with pinto turbo power at 286bhp and it fly's





now the engine is sorted after i had to replace the tps and new plugs and leads etc
ive fitted a scorpion zorst twin dump valves and a K & N induction kit ,
koni adjustable suspension
and sacked the tow bar

ive got Rs side skirts to fit and 2 new doors for the drivers side
theres no welding needed anywere just a nice bloke to paint it for me
ANY VOLUNTEERS UP NORTH IN THE NEWCASTLE AREA WHO WONT CHARGE ME A FORTUNE ??

Go to Brown Couchworks where the old Focus DIY was in South Gosforth. (Now Wickes)...right in the carpark where Sage is. They're very reasonable and they do a kick-ass job. Cost me 200 quid to paint and fit a pair of RS sideskirts on my old Sapph.

just fitted new rear discs and pads then the handbrake stoped working
so of with the wheels and i wggles the bit the cable hooks onto and it works better than ever now ?

also i found that its stays with a suberu sti the bloke was gutted
cant wait till i get it on the rr to have it set up proper

Nice to see someone having a go at a "normal" Sierra lol. How much power do you think it will have? 260bhp? How much did this set you back btw?
