Default Battery powered gps trackers

Anyone have any experience with battery powered gps trackers? Anyone use one? My car is left in storage for long periods with the battery not connected. I see you can get trackers with batteries that last up to 90 days in stand by mode. That’s fine for me as I can re charge it now and then and see the car on an app on my phone. Anyone used anything like this?

The Automatrics one you see on youtube apparently can last a year on battery.

Re-wire security offer various.

May go for this. Constantly monitored app to view it. Motion sensing uses Google maps all seems to be what I need. https://www.spyequipmentuk.co.uk/gps-avenger-tracker/

I think a few supply the unit. It’s the sim and the tracking facility that differs. I rang vanolarm and they wasn’t interested in covering one vehicle and said they operate fleet tracking. A few have said the same thing

Is vanalarm not something you just buy for your own personal use ??

Most trackers you can just buy and set up yourself and they alert on movement etc.

Yes.
I looked after the name was posted, might go for one myself.
There's few options / extras to pick from.

not sure but who ever I spoke too made out there tracking system is for small fleets. They all seem roughly the same. Enforcer 4 ticks the boxes for me think I’ll order one tomorrow so I have it Monday. 3 month battery life. Motion sensing. It notifies you if there’s movement when the battery gets low when your subscription needs topping up. It up dates every 5 seconds or something like that if your watching it live on Google maps. Hopefully it works well. I worry about the stupid thing all the time. Too many people out there who steel what others work hard for

i have one on my horse lorry. It is a clever system. It does a warning to anyone close if they make a noise etc. it does tracking and you can set up geofences etc. works for me as I park the lorry off site and it doesn’t move for a couple of weeks at a time and I expanded the system to cover vibration on the storage doors etc

Yeah same sort of thing I need really. Car is just a toy so left long periods. It’s a little extra peace of mind.
