I,m afraid that being a bit of a Trainee Bufty i dont use my car as much as i should , so when i do go to get it out my battery is always flat. Probably caused by the 9 Alarms and 7 immobalisers
Whats the best Gadget to buy to keep my battery topped up

I wouldnt leave my car battery on trickle charge all the time....batteries can explode.

IMO disconnect the alarms while its in storage for winter. Fit a garage alarm instead. Immobilisers take no power

I got a trickle charger from Ford garage. Around £8. Like Rob said..just like phone charger with 2 croc clips on the end & doesn't overcharge. Leaflet says when the battery is full, it closes of the supply until it senses a drop in charge, then kicks in again It is also works very quick on a flat battery. Car wouldn't start one day (hadn't plugged it in) and half an hour later, car fired into life. Great little things. Saves having to disconnect/reconnect all the time.

I always use my DRAPER Battery Conditioner. Every time the car is put in the garage (like 11 months of the year ) it goes on. NEVER had one single problem in 2 years.... worth their weight in gold.

Get on some motor bike web sites and use one of there chargers, they monitor the battery voltage and when it gets low the cut in and top it up
