Default Wheel bearing again...

Had the car up the other day and noticed the wheel bearings are a bit wobbly. I had them done after I bought the car, so just under 1.5 years ago and probably only a few thousand miles since. Surely wearing too soon? Any idea if this indicates a worn hub or something else?

Did that once on the passenger side. Loose again, although not as loose as before. I suppose the garage who did it may not have pressed the bearings in all the way.

If they tighten up and are smooth and quiet then not being fully home when installed is possible and they might survive. You will know when they have started to break up by the noise or MOT failure.

Thank you both for your replies. I took a look earlier and tightened both front ones up a bit. They still were smooth without noticeable sound so hopefully the bearings themselves are ok. MOT is due in 1 month so I guess I'll find out then for sure.

Bit annoying having to steak/punch the nut. The only bearings I've done myself were on Mercedes which have a nicely designed lock nut, I wonder if anything like that is available for these cars.
