Default Hi Spec handbrake calipers

I’m looking for a four pot rear caliper with handbrake mechanism
I have seen hi spec used to do a nice kit

It’s for a 2WD Sapphire Cosworth

Has anyone got a kit for sale or what are they running on the rear of their cars or can advise

Compbrake do a kit but heard bad things with quality of their kits

Thanks guys

I have the standard 4x4 calipers with a 325 mm conversion set from Reyland at the rear. Multiple piston calipers look nice, but imo there not really needed at the rear. You should also take care that the rear is not overbraked.

Yes completely understand where your coming from
If I go this route I’ll be running 6 pots on the front as to balance the braking out

Whether they are 6 pots, 4 pots or even single pots doesn’t matter for the braking force. It’s the total piston size combineerde with the disc diameter that matters. I have 4 pots with 356 mm discs at the front, where the total surface area of the 4 pots is equalizer to the surface area of the pistons on the standard calipers.

We use these calipers at work and as a brake they are good but as a emergency hand brake they are shit.

Only good as a parking brake really and suited to lighter cars not a saff.

big discs and std calipers will do you well.
