Default Polishing scratches out of glass

I fear I already know the answer (replace) but given every piece of glass on my car other than the windscreen is affected, i'm hoping for some magic solution as i definitely am not replacing the full glass set .

Basically all my glass has a variety of scractches, a good 50% of which can be felt with the fingernail test (just!).
There are some ridiculously deep gouges that i know wont ever be rid of but im hoping i can bring down some of the shallower ones. I am by far a bufty so dont need a mirror finish, i just want to reduce how much the scratches are standing out and if possible, remove the non-fingernail level ones.

I have tried the normal compounds and got some Cerium Oxide too but found that did little to nothing more than the "off the shelf" compounds.
Have used drill/dremels with a mix of felt pads/wool pads/foam pads so far.

Is this the kind of thing a proper detailler could help with? Or is there something stronger that Cerium available?

Any ideas/suggestions much appreciated!

My work use cerium on a soft pad attached to an air drill to remove scratches from glass but depends on how deep it is.

I’m a maintenance engineer at 3 glass factories mate, they process windows for buses and trains ect, when the operators fuck up and scratch the faces of the glass they polish them out with the above method. I’d expect starting with ultra fine emery cloth and then on to a polish pad may be better.

Cool, my family business is in glazing, we roll steel in India then ship to our 24hr factory in Poland and then finally on to here. We made an equivalent to the Critall window about 100 years ago.

I always wondered how to get scratches out of glass

Cerium oxide is probably the best bet. Make it up into a milk like consistency with water and apply with a felt pad in a drill. Don't run it over 1500 rpm and always keep it wet. It's a slow old process but it does work.

I work in the car resto trade and most glass is scratched.

As above it takes forever and Will leave you with low spots and will look like your looking through a good fish bowl.

There is no magical solution best to replace.

I have done a lot of internet research and some people have used nail varnish to fill deep scratches and then polish flat🤔

Also I have heard that heating the glass to melt to scratches out but would you wanna try it?

Tried for a while to polish number plate etchings out with no joy. My saffs rear screen had a similar issue due to being etched incorrectly and it looks shocking.
