What primer after POR-15
Iv piainted the whole underside of my mk2 escort with POR-15, I took the time to do it properly and left it to fully cure for 2 weeks. (Obviously more than enought time required etc) I have sanded down the POR-15 ready for primer.
Now what primer should i use?
I'd like to use 2k but I don't have an air fed mask. So it's 1k I suppose.
Could anyone reccommend a primer to use over the POR-15? I know they do an tie coat primer but Im looking at using a different primer if possible?!
Will it react with the rust preventation? I don't want to be removing all of it off as it took me ages to get to this stage.
Any suggestions helpful
Thanks Scott

All automotive paint is poisonous weather it's 1k or 2k. Use 2k primer, don't use 1k because you'll get all sorts of issues. You can buy a cartridge mask for painting.
Ok thanks. The process im using is:-
POR15- 2coats applied
1 coat of epoxy maybe 2
2 coats High build
3 coats Colour
Any recommendations on high build primers? ones you've used before?
il look into that, I was contemplating on using Stone guard?! should I use it?
or should I just stick with painting it? its only for the underside I just want to do the job properly.
when would I apply it, after priming it? or before?

Frost POR15 is the best product I've used for underside. I did my Escort Cosworth with this after it was stripped to bare metal. Still looks as good now as it did when it was applied.
Did you primer over yours?

Yeah it's good stuff if done properly! Mines been left for over a month to cure haha and its stuck perfectly fine! Just gone over it with 240 grit to key ready for primer. It's good stuff but its a tad expensive but it does the job brilliantly.
