As above I'm wanting tips or advice on removing /cleaning proper baked on brake dust off a set of 20" chrome rims, what are the best or strongest products to use? any links or info would be really appreciated, Thanks chaps
I used a clay bar on mine, brought them up a treat for ford fair after 6months of no cleaning. There aren't very many chemicals that work, you need good old fashioned elbow grease

Check out Power Maxxed - they offered a member over on Detailing world that if their product doesn't remove all of the brake crud baked on, they'd give the money back.
Be careful with Chrome alloys, the finishes may get affected with products - id stick by a good iron/fallout remover (i've got iron-x) followed by a clay...
