have you checked the basics like the carbon bush in the dizzy cap, after that I think you will need to check wiring to coil and ignition amp to find out the issue

if the fuel pump is running when cranking, that should rule out the crank sensor, but if it's just priming on the ignition, that'll be the relay pulsing it.
Usually no spark and no pump running would be the crank sensor

Dude stop messing about with it. Letting everyone get thier fingures on her is just pimping her out like a cheap slut.

Its a minor whatever, as the car is an animal when running.

Ill see ya this week.

What has Jano suggested?

High revs could be a air leak, have a look at your map sensor pipework,

Hi mate check the gap on the crank and phase sensor tgey have to be so close 0.2 mm to get a spark it coukd of knocked out of position

As for tge relay not clicking take both relays out clean contacts plug back in or replace for new ones chevk wiring on both as well clean with sandpaper

Map sensor chevk the voltage and air sensor common for failing

Change management to something more reliable is my advice, so many threads about Cossie management not running right these days, it's old, the looms are old, dizzy, amp, MAP, etc. all old, same goes for Fiesta RST/XR3i/XR2i EFI.... can spend so much time and money trying to chase down problems it's just not worth it IMO, more and more people are binning it off for something new.

I know Jano won't agree but that's just my opinion/experience lol

You talk so much crap karlos I have had enough of people sending me links of you spreading bull shit to the masses.

We both know all sensors are available. As is loom or any other part.

If you have the money buy new sensors and you wont have issues.

The management is just as reliable as the next system. Why wouldnt it be.

If you dont know your way around an engine, then why mess around with it and blame things you dont actually know about.
Over the last 15 years how many management systems do think I have fitted. i can tell you now that everyone of them are in a better value for money position than you could offer with what ever gimik you can supply.

If the op came over id sort it out within minutes I know what it is to cause the idle to stick at 1500., (not advertising just explaining) its his choice he would rather ask on here and get loads of random answers and misguided help.

If he went to the correct website he would of got all the help he needed anyway.

so stop with the propaganda as we both know you cant beat the value for money the weber system offers. If you could I would quite happily supply this system over my choice.

You make out like I dont use anything else. The fact is I make less money by selling weber than I would from selling any other system. Last month I sold more life racing amd pectel ecus than anything else. For example I would make almost 230 quid just by selling a new after market ecu like omex or emrald etc etc. I choose not to and fit weber instead value for money for the customer. If I was a total dick like some I would just take the higher profit margin and newer system.

So think a little why I choose weber. If there was a better way I woild use it on my own cars!!!

all I see you do is knock things you dont like or cant make money from. The difference is I will knock things because there is no value for money reason to use it. Not to make money from it. My customers prove the fact that caring about their pocket is more important than just getting the job

Whatever management you fit will need throttle body/sensors etc.

Standalone management can be calibrated/set up for pretty much any sensors you choose.

...... the best sensors to use are.......

the same as whats fitted to a standard cossie.

So lets fit a new management costing loads more.
Use the same sensors either second hand or new.
Get the same results as the next person who spent half the amount
Then go round telling people they are better off.

You dont need to, or have to experience much to understand value for money.
