I bought this fiesta about a two years ago as a cat D write off, £275!! Bargain.. the guy had smashed the front right wing and the windscreen was smashed too, but 150 quid roughly and it was sorted. will try and find pictures of these bits.. I sorted the car for mot and used it last year until I sadly killed the engine driving home from winchester to devon.. Seeing no point in fixing it for similar price as the car was worth I bought a 1.6 from an xr2, just been rebuilt and was out of a camper van from a guy I know in Wales, to anyone wondering about doing this conversion then yes it's straight forward, if you have the whole engine, engine mounts and 4 piece exhaust manifold it's all easy!
