I have this list of parts I have to sell due to moving onto another racecar with Zetec engine

Also have numerous cams, XR3i MFi inlet set up from a 63k car, RS1600i inlets etc

Engines

I have for sale the bottom end engine I had built to use in the Classic Touring Cars. It is same spec as an XR Challenge engine but has 1300 pistons fitted to raise compression. It only did 3 laps after having problems which turned out to be a blocked radiator. All this engine needs is a set of 1600 pistons fitting which are supplied (NEW 0.5mm KS pistons). It was built using a standard size dipped block which was decked slightly and bored to 0.5mm oversize, crank checked and balanced along with all moving components. ARP rod bolts fitted. I’m looking for offers in region of £700 for this and it cost me a lot more to have built and then i’ve bought the new pistons at £100. I also have cylinder heads to go with this if required. Be a shame to have it sat around when it could be in a car for 2014

I have my 2011 championship winning bottom end which was fitted to my car after removing the above engine but again developed problems which we found out was the blocked radiator. It has started to detonate on cylinder 3 and 4 as the fuelling must have leaned off as the engine got hot. This engine would be ideal to bore out to 1.0mm oversize and I have a set of used 1mm pistons on rods if required.

I have another block from my first meeting in my Escort which the oil pump failed. Looks liks its had new pistons fitted at 0.5mm oversize. I’ve got inspected the crank as I only removed the pump to see if it had failed and it was smashed to bits. Rest of block is still complete and would be ideal for someone to inspect and/or rebuild for a spare.

Heads.

Got an untouched 81 SM 6090 BRA cross hatch head which came from a 65k C–reg XR2. I know the car it came from as it was a friends who replaced the engine with a Turbo lump. Its still caked in oil etc and has original cam/lifters fitted. Dont think its been slimmed.

Got an 81 SM 6090 ARH cross hatch head. Its bare and came from a lad who did stock rods in a Fiesta. Looks in good cond and is clean.

Also got other heads incl a couple of XR3i FA heads complete

Got lots of other engine parts I’ve probably missed so if you need anything specifically give me a call

Also got a tub of XR2 silly little stuff with switches etc and also some Fiesta door and side glass

If you buy a job lot I’ll do a deal on price

Do you know if the new genuine xr3i clutch cable will work in a s2 turbo ?

Interested in all in new xr3 inj parts.

Do you have part numbers ?

Also interested in a sump and Mfi set up if in very good condition.

Anything gen ford and new for a mk3 xr3i I will have. Do you have any breather pipes which run of the inlet manifold? Can be used ones?
