Concentrated on Ronnie and Mark more than anything but hopefully they give you a good idea of how quick this series is. Bit of swearing when Ronnie locks up as he was on a cracking lap





To give you a comparison, Ronnie is 10 secs slower than a single seater Radical. When you take into consideration how much a Radical weighs and what they are built to do, its a cracking achievement

That was my first flying lap as the tyres take a couple of laps to get up to temps. The Subaru braked so much earlier than me causing the lock up. I was gutted as I was confident that would have been a good lap. And faster than the 1.17 that I did on cold tyres.

After that it was like driving a car with square wheels. I could just about hold on down the craner curves.

I will definitely be going back their for a trackday to find out what times I could have done.

Rich thay was well worn when we fitted them, but seeing as thats all that we had at least it got him back on track.

 

Ronnie text me saying have you got a spare of 888's which I did but didn't see the text till over an hour after he'd sent it otherwise i'd have dropped them up i'm only 45mins away from Donington. I was going to pop up but ended up working on my 3 Door.
I only ask about the V70's as i'm thinking of swaping over to them next season as alot of Hillclimbers rate them over the 888's.

I dont think Ron could give you a confident answer on them as I say they wernt in the gratest of condistions when I swapped the tyre across buddy.

 

how is this season going for ronnie anyway as theres not much on it on here this season

 

We are 40 points clear with only Brands Hatch left, and that is our local track..
