Default FAO karlos g..... Black top inlet

Can't try the blacktop zetec on my inlet as it doesn't fit in a fiesta rs turbo engine bay

So for reference anyone doing a zetec turbo in a frst the black top inlet doesn't fit

Gutted back to the drawing board

You have to unbolt from the engine mount. Pull the engine forward to get enough space to bolt it on then push it back. I've got that manifold fitted to my mk3

If there is a lot of engine movement it still might hit though?

I guess it depends how the engine is mounted. I'm
Using a blacktop side mount to its pretty solid!

It's butted up tight against the brake balance bar so no good

I'm bolting my rs1800 style one back on as its modded already for top feed injectors, just needs a lick of paint

One good thing is I just cut all the brackets off for bonnet catch supports as the turbo didn't fit between rad and manifold and now I've moved my rad so far forward I have 3/4"s between the 4x4 cossie turbo and my big alloy rad, so chuffed, just got to make some brackets up

And weld my 3" down pipe into the system

Making loads of progress now

And with it touching the brake bar it wouldn't sit flat on the head either
