Walking along in the middle of nowhere and see this stuck in the air. I was curious so investigated further.

Debating what it was with my mate. Looks like it had the roof cut off it at some point, possible accident? Can't see how it would have got there at all tbh. Found the tape inside it and put it on that drum!

Don't know if anything is worth salvaging off it tbh. Mate was considering selling bits off it. Only bits that looked okay were the calipers, drums, hubs and things like the rocker and exhaust manifold. Not a fiesta man but don't think theres much semand for rusty mk3 bits!

I dont know tbh! Thought I took a picture of it side on! The whole car getting there is a mystery tbh, looks to me like its had a rear end crash at some point as the back sort of folded upon itself. plus there's a straight edge cut at the bottom of where the windscreen was. But the fact there is not one bit of plastic on the car, not even a clip, combined with the fire and rescue tape I pulled out suggests it was probably set alight whilst it was sat there if I had to guess.

Is there an access road / track / (cliff!) nearby for it to have got there?! Must of been some fire for it to have burned all plastics to nothing and melted the bellhousing....

There's a huge crop field next to it so Presuambly a tractor must have access thinking about it! But If it was put there 20 years ago I suppose there could have been a track of some type

That's been in a serious fire that wasn't put out for a long time! Bellohusing aluminium and brake pipes both look to have mostly melted away.

I'd guess it was burnt out by joyriders where you've found it.

The sad thing is that someone felt the need to take the wheels.
