Creamy gunk
As title says I was checking my gf's engine oil n needed a drop put in. On removal of the oil filler cap it was full of a creamy gunk in the cap itself and around the tube the cap turns into. It's a mk6 1.4 fiesta.
I'm already aware that water in the oil causes this goo but what could be causing it? Blocked breather pipe? Head gasket? Anything else??

you need to change the title to "my girlfriends creamy gunk", you will get more views lol
id just say condensation if the levels are ok, i see this on most fiesta/focus with 1.2/1.4/1.6 motors

All the reservoirs are fine, dipstick was clean thankfully. She only does short trips n quite alot of cold starts. Perhaps ill take em both for ragging lol

Carry on?.
As said, if she is doing short journeys and loads of cold starts its likely just to be condensation build up, nothing to worry about really but i would be changing the oil/filter more often if it was me. Take it for a run out for an hour if you can once a week, should clear up.
