Default Creamy gunk

As title says I was checking my gf's engine oil n needed a drop put in. On removal of the oil filler cap it was full of a creamy gunk in the cap itself and around the tube the cap turns into. It's a mk6 1.4 fiesta.

I'm already aware that water in the oil causes this goo but what could be causing it? Blocked breather pipe? Head gasket? Anything else??

Condensation due to cold weather, check the dipstick to see if that's creamed up

Let it run hot and take the cap off while idling and it should let some of the water evaporate

change the oil for some cheap stuff for a week or so and run it about and get it fully up to temp, then change it again for some decent stuff

Take it for a spin on the highway Get it up to temp once in a while. Its the short trips and the cold starts thats the problem.

As said, if she is doing short journeys and loads of cold starts its likely just to be condensation build up, nothing to worry about really but i would be changing the oil/filter more often if it was me. Take it for a run out for an hour if you can once a week, should clear up.
