brown gunk in turbo pipe
hi all bought a new samco hose for between the turbo and when i took the old one off loads of light brown gunk came out its mainly coming from the metering unit but a little has worked up to the turbo. What causes this?

oil vapour returning to metering head via standard breather if your still running it. Most replace breather with baileys oil seperator and vent to atmosphere then block up the existing inlet on the metering unit.

if your running higher than normal boost (7psi+) on the standard breather its a common occurance.
A standard breather would look like this
where an uprated one would look like
shiny tank on right near that blue arrow
get some pics up and we'll be able to tell
