you need a large socket short piece of 10mm stud sum washers and nuts and grease/wd40!
put a nut 1 end of stud put stud through socket then through bushnow washer goes on and nut now tighten up nut on the socket side until it pulls through same procedure to fit but use the grease/wd40 as lubrication first

Remove the inner sleeve use a long steel bar the same size as hole and then you should be able to lever them out(lever out from the larger end)

Told you I would only be a few min's I hope this vid works as it has taken me F***ing ages to upload it, I did have the full video of it popping into place but I cant find it but you will probably get the gist of how it works, all you need to do is just reverse the bit of wood or use something else with a hole or aperture larger than the size of the bottom of the bush if that makes sense, it worked perfectly for me also give it a squirt of silicone spray.

thanks a million for that mate

i can see how it works now but the bushes look a lot bigger in mine ,

i might try it with a smaller socket ,as it seemed to squash out more with bigger socket stopping it from coming through

I'm guessing you have probably got the Powerflex bushes or similar with a more conical tapered top to it, mine is a two part bush there is another flat pad that sits on top held in place by the metal sleeve,

I would of thought it would still only lip over the beam the same amount though.
I have also used this method for removing and fitting the original trailing arm bushes using perfectly sized sockets, and all these methods worked with ease without damaging the fresh powder coat, because I did not trust a garage to do the same.
