Default mk1 FRS dump valve

I've completed my 1st week of ownership of #0005 FRS, well had the joy of driving twice!!

Anyway, it has a Bailey dump valve. I've read quite alot and been advised a recirc dv should be fitted. I'm no expert on dump valves, could anyone tell me what this dump valve is; Recirc or atmospheric. Cheers in advance.

i have a question for you...what kind of plastic plate is it that you have fit over where the hood lock goes..,,,with the vents...is it something you made yourself..or is it from a specific kind of focus?

cheers from stefan,norway

Hi mate it from Car parts express , makes a really big difference to the temps and recovery time , been proven with testing.

Not cheep at £113 but makes just as much difference as a up rated charge-cooler

Cheers for the replies guys, i now have a Forge DV, just waiting on a few hoses from Roose. The engine bay will be in for a clean bit by bit as I get around the engine bay.

RSRick, the CPE plastic plate seems to good purchase, cheers for the CPE link. Looks like they'll have a few more sales!

Where the recirc is fitted in the pic is that hose off turbo? Then the hose comes to charge cooler?
