Default 1979 skyline 2000gt project

well i have been looking for a classic car project for a while and i have just bought this.
its a 1979 c210 240k 2000gt nissan skyline
2.0 straight 6 injection 130 hp 69000 miles 2 owners
very rare to find one of these over here.
a few pics

what i want is a kpgc10 gtr but they cost approx £50000 if you could find one.
so the closest thing is to build a bit of a replica.
the picture below is the exact same shell just with different wheels, arches and a few exterior touches like wing mounted mirrors and you have this

also i will change the rear lights to 2 round lights like the gtr has.

i need those rear lights somehow, if i cant buy any i will make some from r32 gtr rear lenses and a chrome surround. i have just ordered bullet style black fender mount wing mirrors
ive also got a fill 3" veilside exhaust outside from an r32 gtr so i can fit that aswell, they made a turbo version of my motor aswell all i need is the manifold and turbo for 150 hp.

thanks for the comments everyone, i was unsure how another ricer thread from me would go down lol
i am hopeing the engine and drivetrain will all stay as is, 130 hp isnt to shabby and i can turbo it if needs be for a little more, im already hunting for a l20et manifold lol
its got 9 months mot remaining and has come from a 76 year old man so hopefully its a good base, its kind of a must buy for me as they are so rare here its crazy.
it should be an appreciateing asset aswell i hope being so rare, i want to keep it as original as possible, just the cosmetic touches first.

if i won the lottery i would buy a genuine kpgc10 gtr just as a showpiece, but until then this will have to fill that hole for me

mmmmm 72 gtr

its hard to gauge a value on them as theres none for sale, ever

mine needs work but seems a good base was advertised at £3500
theres only 3 others i know for sale, both modded with nice rims etc, theres an auto 4 door for £7700, a 2 door like mine but with all the little bits, mint and with a 2.8 on sidedraughts thats £16500 and finally a c10 1972 gtr replica with an l20 sohc engine in for £25000.
they just dont really exist over here from what i can make out, hence why i couldnt be picky and choosy, it has some rust here and there, but its 69000 miles 2 owners all mots apparently and a manual which seems is rare.

im getting excited now picking it up in the morning, well aslong as its as it should be.

ive been thinking about rear lighting, i can get a 140mm diameter hamburger led rear indicator, tail and stop, and then the same size fog, im thinking i might buy these and make a stainless plate to mount them in the original bezel, il need to have a measure of the car first though, a rear end with twin lights like the pick above would need to come from japan and is gonna cost about £1000 ! just for the lights and bezel, fook that its ridiculous, im also sure a mk1 caddy deep front spoiler will do the job instead of £300+ for one from japan.

very happy theres a bit of rust here and there as to be expected but nothing serious i could see.
