I remove one bulb and drive round with the lights on for a while. The heat of the bulb soon dries them out.

Sure you've sealed it up enough? I'd take it out and leave it in a warm place overnight with the bulbs out and back cover off. If condensation re-appears then it's not sealed up properly.

tbh i think the hair dryer just moved the condensation fron water on the glass to vapour then resettled

If it mists up again, get some tiger seal and use that to reseal the glass to the unit, I've used that on plenty of light lenses in the past and i've not had one leak yet!

Next time your cleaning your car leave it running, put tin foil(reflect side in) over the head light and leave main beam on whilst you clean. Normally shifts condensation fairly well.

Make sure you leave the bulb covers off so the moisture can escape.
