Default fresh paint, flat black, what wax is best?

as above what wax is recomended for fresh paint? the is no laquer on the car. just gloss black paint.

thanks pall. got some autoglim high gloss but been told i shouldent use it.
graham didnt have time to wax it so going to do it my self

How fresh is the paint, I'm sure it needs to be left a while before waxing.

If there is no laquer you would be better putting something like Gtechniq C1 or Exo these coatings lasts for years,traditional carnauba and paste waxes you would need to top up every 3 months or so.

I would leave the paint for a bit longer before you apply anything.
