If your after an external oil pump setup and keep the oil in the engine instead of a tank. Ian Howell at area six and lacey on here are going to be selling a complete kit soon.

The first single stage kit is being tested this week all going well the once that is proven to be good , then the second kit will be going to Ian and he can do his testing to , then once all this is done then I will be machining a stock of 10 kits , also my full on dry sump kit for the zetec is almost done just waiting on shafts then I should be able to get a few of these kits in stock to ,
The single stage kit uses a black top sump ( 2 peice ) and has a good internal design and with small modded will fit a silver top using this pan will also let me offer 2 types of pan ( steel part) ie std with modded pick up or big wing with modded pick up

So it is going to be an external pressure pump only and delete the internal pump? If that is the case it would be great !!! Because um not a track guy, i just want a pump that has nothing to do with the damn crank !!

i cant see this external pump being that much cheaper than going dry sump,
and it would be a pump from a dry sump kit and run off the crank anyway so why not just have the oil tank too!.

Because the lines, fittings and tank cost a fair whack and there's the messing about with running it all.

Also a single stage pump will be cheaper than a three stage pump.

Std dry sump kit = Ł1235
Tank. = Ł 300
Hose+fitting. = Ł1000
( depend on what you have in the system and where the tank is placed )
Good quality oil cooler = Ł100
Good flowed remote filter head = Ł50
Then there's hose clamp/tank mounts and all the other Hiden bits you don't know about till you fitting a kit .
Not saying every one will spend this much and there are bargains/discounts to be had , but if you do it right it can cost .

Remote presure pump kit + modded pan/pipes/fittings/oil in plate/pulleys/belts/and there maybe one or two other bits = Ł1000
( price is not a 100% yet so there is a good possibility it's a bit less)
The pump itself is nearly the same as a dry sump one just minus 4 gears and 2 stages which only makes the pump a little less to produce as it still needs 1 front 1 prv 1 prv housing 1 spring 1 prv adj assembly 1 stage 2 gears 2 fittings 2 harden/ground shafts 2 bearings 1 seal 5 needle rollers and so on ( got bore and can't be bothered to list any more bits) but I assume you can see where that was going ,

A kit has been tested and just awaiting some more info/ feed back then another kit will go to Ian howell for him to give me feed back then I will make a load

The engine Ian built for jack with the external kit on it made 570hp but then was reduced to 530 hp for reliablity/safety , oil pressure was fine and done as it should. .this info was supplied to me by jack a few days ago.

A accusump is to help with the supply of oil , it wouldn't be the answer for the Zetec as it would not stop the pump from destroying itself

But the Cvh does not suffer the oil pump failing like the Zetec , I could have done you a d/sump kit for the Cvh
