Hello all my father broke his arm in 3 place's just be chrismas on that bad ice he had fall in back yard. He broke is arm right by the ball joint and we have a astra 1.6 L .s but he find it had to get in gear but it does have the short gear stick just asking what car has the easy'st gear to get in gear and smooth not hard let me know cheers

 

Can look at extending the lever. Downside will be more throw though. Or get an automatic

 

As above, surely auto would be the way forward?

 

No brainer really, Auto as above

 

It's too early to give in with what he has now.
Is he having physio?

Is his arm plastered? If so he shouldn't be driving.

The strength in his arm should improve over the next few weeks.
