I use 3M products and my trusty Silverline rotary. Have tried many products over the years and find the 3M stuff fantastic

Here's a fiesta I did last year

Blimey that did come up very well , Ive not ventured down the da / rotary polisher route yet as im abit scared of damaging the paint & of course the extra course but when i see pic's like this it defo looks worth the risk/cost

It really does take a lot to burn through factory paint, especially hard German paint lol! That fiesta had had some right shite paint work done over the years but came out ok. You could always get some practice panels before you let loose on your car. The machine isn't really expensive at all, less than £50 delivered with a 3 year warranty and I can't fault it. Tbh though, you're Audi looks relatively swirl and RDS free

Here's the machine mate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Silverline-San...#ht_500wt_1156

It does get expensive when you start adding the different polishes and foam pads though

I bought

These 3 http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalo...mm_Pads_1.html

No i havent been on that particular site , ive had a nose around http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/ theres a reasonable forum, and ive had a fair few products from them in the past ...

The polisher looks sweet , but your not wrong the accessories soon bang up the cost quite considerably ... Still on my mind though i think ill have to save a few penny 1st ... Cheers 4 the info there
