Lads didn't get much in the way of answers in my last post but hopefully one or two might know this one.

One of the cars I'm looking at today has an orange circle in the lower inside corner of the head light. I know its for the indicator but my question is should the RS model have this type of head light, all the examples on the internet don't have the orange in them put this one has. See pic below.



I take it if these where changed it could have had a front end hit and I'll look out for that but did the RS come with these head lights?

 

Nope the RS lights had chrome blanks over the indicators as the indicators remained in the bumper.

Had a front end maybe?!?!

Its had replacement headlights or front end damage and a on the cheap repair.

 

Lad said it had after market lights when he both them colour coded with round insert so he changed them for these as he didn't like the other ones. I suppose that could happen so I'll give the front end a good look over.

Anyway lads I take it their not hid light just standard bulbs so there would be no issue finding a set to but them back to original state would there?

 

They are just normal lights. A set of ST170 one look good on the RS.

 

they look like st170 headlights, a popular mod to do.

 

I've had it checked and the car did see paint to the right wing and front bumper but the work is perfect. I'd say the lights where changed then. I actually liked them when I saw the car up front and am going to buy it if my Subaru STi prodrive sells.
