Default Recommendations for new stereo - Fiesta mk6

I just bought a new stereo for my car, but it sucks! (Xtron for any of you who know of the company, and for those who don't, steer clear!)

So, any advice on a new one? Needs to have bluetooth etc and simply look good haha

Cheers!

Pioneer or Alpine from experience. Was a big Kenwood fan for years but of late their units feel very cheap.

Sony in my experience sound naff and flat and JVC are just cheap tat that I would only use to line my dustbin with.

With headunits you do get what you pay for, don't need to go mad though.

Thanks for the advice!

I was looking at Pioneer and Alpine actually, I assume £400ish is about a reasonable price?
Bit high but ah well haha

£400 should get you a very nice unit indeed.

Alpine aren't normally as funky looking as some, but the quality is absolutely fantastic in my experience... and £400 will get you a very high spec model too.

Cheers,

You can get a very competant headunit for around £200. Just stick with the big brands - Alpine, kenwood, Pioneer, Panasonic, etc. Steer well clear of these stupid over-spec'd imported headunits from brands you've never heard of before.

The new alpine line up is just being released , new processors on board offering improved sound quality over previous models - cant be bad at all.
Plus with the new range coming out you could get a high spec run out model from last year for a hafty saving.
