I can't remember if they said what the cUss of death was either choking on his vomit of alchohol poisoning, so in that respect there is still a lesson to be taught.
Morbid? Not quite I don't think, it was more a harrowing thought that not o ly did they get really you g youngsters to act like that, but they put it on at a time when really young youngsters would ask what was going on, both my kids were asking me why that man was dead and I couldn't explain it to them.

You could actually tell them thr truth that its a shi*y TV programme & isnt actually true or do you actually believe it as these threads seem to suggest. GET A GRIP DOJJ.
Hit a nerve with my family thats for sure as my 13 year old daughter went to visit a neighbour during the summer and heard music blasting out of the front room so she thought they could not hear the doorbell, went in through back door only to find her mates dad stone dead on the sofa, she came and got me so ambulance and police were called ,and as far as we know it was down to drink

Their life and death expiriences are limited to flies that we squash or slugs that we salt, not actual real lice people with families who will grieve for them so it's a bit difficult to explain to kids who are simply to small to comprehend what is going on what's going on.
i can't watch that programme, theres a garage and car sales place but no fucker drives, they all work around the square and are in the pub every day and all eat chips for dinner and the cafe for breakfast so should all be 20 stone plus, theres a club that opens every night and no fucker goes there.
complete crap if you ask me, when the wife puts it on i make my exit.

Who cares if it's "real" or not, it's got a wide enough audience to make it's topical content stick in certain situations and if one of them is binge drinking a
ongst youngsters then at least some parents will keep an eye on them.
Besdies, if you haven't seen the episode how can you make a judgement as to what happened during the program

She had her afternoon nap, why do you think I was posting at gone midnight while she was playing angry birds
She's forgotten all a out it by then but when kids put you on the spot you can either try and bluff your way out of it and move on to the next subject (in this instance, oranges) or you get bogged down in more and more difficult questions. They already k ow that daddy watches films with naughty words I. Them and that they should either ask for the film to be stooped or go back to sleep again

dojj your first mistake is watching eastenders! leave it to the missus and be done with it, then learn to say "yes dear" etc when she goes on about it like it really happened.

And hereby we have the second problem, why let a two year old play angry birds at that time of night!!!!!!!!!!! They should be in bed even if they are not asleep. Talk about letting the kids rule the parents, it will be Dojj on here in a few years, my daughters an alocholic/teen mum/ run away etc. Kids need a routine in order to sleep properly etc.
As for watching Eastenders , as above sorry but I have a life!!!!!
I said it as soon as he was seen lying on the sofa.Yes its a programme but it was a bit of shit episode.I lost one of my best mates last Dec @25 due to alcohol poisoning. My missis was in tears watching last nights episode

i'm older than you, and married, which means i don't have a life
when kids don't go to sleep, kids don't go to sleep, no matter what you try to make them do
and there they were at 8 trying to cry themselves silly the both of them into letting me give them some "fizzy juice" in the shape of some coke, like fuck

But there is a difference between 2 and 4 and 6 and 10 mate, the 4 year old is out like a light from anywhere between 6 and 9 depending on how busy his day has been so he's normally no bother, but she's still getting her afternoon naps in and is up later in the evening, and if she doesn't then she's out by around 6 or 7 and then back up again at around 10 or 11 so I k ownwhem I'd rather she was asleep

Yep, there is a diffence but mine were never like that even when they were 2 & 4 even with ADHD which makes them very very hyper.
Believe me once they are in a routine life will be a lot bloody easier and its best to start now as once they are older they will never do it.

Junior has his routine, little miss trouble though doesn't so if she goes to bed early, she wakes up early, you can't win
When she's waking me up at 4am. Ecause mummy is sleeping, what else am I supposed to do?
Bloody kids, if they ain't sleeping then they are finding more and more ingenius methods to cause havoc in my life
and I still don't get to watch it "live" as I was watching the sky+ version last night

You send her back to bed and tell her it's not time to get up. You're giving her a reason to get up by letting her! You're the boss, not her!

But she's o ly 2 mate, when she's old enough to understand I'll get her to go to sleep just like her brother, he only started going to sleep regularly when he starred to go to full time nursery where he couldn't have an afternoon nap and after 2 days he was fixed in his "must go to bed at 7" routine
Fair enough each parent does it differently. Ours were in routines right from the word go, and they're both good as gold at bedtime, and it's pretty much always me waking them up rather than the other way around.
I just like a bit of peace in the evening

If it's any consolation, i'm still sitting in my dingy office at work and both kids are asleep at home, I've just told the wife not to wait up as I'll be at least another 2 hours, then it all starts again
