Default focus cdti not starting?????

Hello, had a 53plate focus cdti duratorque in the workshop for a broken glow plug(snapped off in head)! got that out but now it wont start!!!!! we had to remove the injector pipes and wires to expose the broken glow plug, its all been reassembled correctly, bled up and the 4 new glow plugs are working but wont run properly? it just seems to run on 3 and 4 cylinders. with it running number 1 and 2 injector wires can be unplugged to no effect but touch 3 or 4 and the engine stops! can anyone throw any light on it? its doing everyones head in now!!! could it be the injectors need re- programming after theyve been unplugged?

Would it not be worth speaking to a diesel specialist first? In my experience, that's exactly what Ford main dealers do!!

Codeing wont make a diffrence mate can you get live data with your scanner see what the injection refrence is on all four cylinder and read what fuel pressure is on idle should give you actual and desiered which should be about 300 - 350 ish bar on commonrail and get back to me.

Hi doug, got those fuel pressure readings,600kpa at startup rising to 27000kpa when its running on two cylinders! which is about 375bar i think. the customer now tells me that every now and then it does struggle to start, hence why they'd tried changing the glow plugs!
There is fuel to all injectors and electrical signals to them all as well. i can only guess its knackered injectors or an ECU issue. checked all the fuses as well.
